The property is located in a quiet cul de sac just off the main high street. The street is a mixture of student lets and families who own their properties; we have always had a good relationship with the neighbours. There is car parking in the street although this is on a first come first served basis.
The University is a 10 minute walk away. It takes approximately 5 minutes to walk to the train station and the central shopping area/cinema etc. There are local convenience stores including Tesco express just around the corner. The nearest large supermarket is a 15 minute walk away.
The property was built around the 1900’s and is a bay fronted larger than average terraced house. We purchased the property for our son to live in when he was a student at Lincoln, we try and improve the property each year. Feedback from our tenants is that the condition of the property is better than average for a student let.
The property has four rooms used as bedrooms, three upstairs and one downstairs. Downstairs there is a sitting area with a sofa and chairs. There is also a gas fire, an occasional table and a TV. The kitchen is modern and has plenty of cupboards. There is a basic gas cooker, a microwave, a fridge freezer and a washer/dryer. The bathroom is downstairs and located beyond the kitchen, it is very spacious but functional, there is a bath as well as a good shower. There is vinyl cushion flooring in the kitchen and bathroom areas, laminate in the living area and everywhere else is carpeted.
The property has central heating in all the rooms, there is a gas combination boiler so there is always hot water. The bedrooms have a bed, wardrobe, drawers, a shelf, table and chair. There are TV connection points in all the bedrooms.
